I'm using ToneLib GFX 4.7.5 in Windows, and trying to make sense of the looper feature. Loops don't play back smoothly, there is a stutter or gap between repeats (sometimes up to a half-second long!). This makes the looper seem not very usable, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I've misunderstood how this looper is supposed to work. I have "toggle looper rec/play" hooked up to a MIDI footswitch, and I know I'm pressing the switch at the right time (I've used looper pedals successfully before), but still there's a gap.

Hey, yes, the same experience with ToneLib GFX 4.7.8 on Linux.
Come on, the looper is useless like this, unless we are missing something onbvious?

Here we are in August 2025 and the same problem lingers. I built a footswitch activated keypress over a usb connection, which should act just as a key press on the keyboard. But, like the keyboard keypress, there is a lag. Latency. Whatever it's called, it makes the looper unusable. Is there anybody out there? Hello?
